Cure Nabs Its Playmaker

St. Louis Cure GM/Coach has announced the club has signed Javier Morales as its second round draft pick. In the past 3 years, the creative and flashy Argentinian has collected 22 assists. He joins Real Salt Lake striker Robbie Findley as the first two members of the 2010 Cure squad. Lodes: "I am very pleased that we are able to select such a talented playmaker. I can confidently say that Morales is the best midfielder in the league. He is in his prime, he is motivated and he is devoted to winning. If he stays healthy, Morales should be able to collect MVP-type numbers." With the Morales signing, the first two members of the 2010 roster arrive from the MLS Champion Real Salt Lake.

  1. Score. Great pick! To have him and findley together on your roster should be very beneficial. Still a long way to go but in my opinion this is a very solid first two picks. You got me a little worried now.

  2. Thanks. It appears I'll either live or die with RSL this year :)
