Each week during the 2010 season, the St. Louis Cure will announce its Man of the Match. The weekly M.O.T.M awards will be used to decide who wins the prestigious Bronze Boot at the conclusion of the season. The first winner of the 2010 season is unanimous. Javier Morales, Real Salt Lake's midfield playmaker, takes home the award thanks to his splendid brace. With the Cure down 2-1, Morales scored his first goal with a 35 yard rocket. He managed to top that wonder strike with a brilliantly hit free kick that landed in the top corner of the net. In between his two goals, Morales fed Fabian Espindola for the game winning goal. GM/Coach Kirk Lodes, "That free kick was world class. Morales' goals were the work of a master. Javier Morales is a man on a mission and opposing BSL teams should be very nervous."
