South Africa via St. Louis?

The St. Louis Cure is overjoyed to announce their sixth round pick is US International Robbie Rogers. Rogers has an outside chance to make Bob Bradley's squad of 23 to travel to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. Whether he makes the cut or not, Cure GM/Coach Kirk Lodes is estatic the young midfielder was available so late in the draft. Lodes, "What a pick up for the Cure. What impresses me most about Rogers is his work ethic, hustle and aggressiveness. Add those strengths with his versatility and you have a very special young player. We can slot Rogers on the flank. Or he makes an effective striker. The depth of the St. Louis Cure has been solified with the signing of Rogers."

  1. The only cure is the disease. (laughs) The Show-me cup is going to be huge. Check out the page I made on it. Maybe we can have a show-me BSL championship this year.
