Cure Add Youth to Reserve Team

With the new reserve rule in place, St. Louis Cure GM/Coach went to work evaluating the remaining talent available. In the end, he decided to pick two exciting, yet unexperienced players to the squad. Brek Shea is only 19, but he got valuable minutes last season with FCD. It is highly likely he can start producing at a regular pace in 2010. Kansas City's 1st round superdraft pick Teal Bunbury, number 4 overall, rounds out the Cure lineup. GM/Coach Lodes, "Both players will immediately join the reserve squad. I'm confident that they will work their way into the lineup during the season. It's possible that one, maybe both, could see significant time in the starting lineup this year."

  1. I was trying to see if we could have a preseason friendly before March 25th starts and this is what I got.

MLS preseason game we could use.

    Galaxy vs Puntarenas 3/10
    Seattle vs Portland(USL) 3/11
    Dynamo vs Fire 3/11
    Revs vs Charlotte 3/13
DCU/RSL/TOR play in the carolina cup 3/13
    Philly vs FCDallas 3/14
    Crew vs Toluca 3/17
Earthquakes vs Dynamo (2nd time using them) 3/17
    RedBulls vs Santos 3/20

That's 13 of 16 MLS teams. You think its enough to get a scrimmage going????????

  4. Neither one of us have any NYRB players so we don't even need that game. So it will be between 3/10 - 3/17 for the match.

    The not-so-friendly friendly (laughs)
